There are two types of builders in this world that can be metaphorically translated to the current way mankind operates. One is like a man who worked on the tower of Babel where mankind tried to impress the God of Abraham by making a building that would reach the Heavens. The people wanted to build a tall tower to reach heaven on their own actions and intelligence. The Lord was very displeased with these actions and decided to confound their language to extinguish their building plans. For some reason, they build a lifestyle and something inside tells them that their must be something more in life. In fact, this impression they had actually came from within themselves which we call the Light of Christ. Most people call it conscience, others in the scientific world call it extinct. Whatever you label it, it gives you the sense of what is good and what is bad. When you ignore it too much and you want to build an empire while negating your Creator, you begin to enlist in the group of building towers for yourself. Something will always be missing until you start listening to impressions within (Light of Christ) and impressions from the outside (Holy Ghost) . But your logical mind will say that it has to be some object or goal that must be achieved in order to gain that peace. That peace can only be found by the author of peace; the Lord Jesus Christ. Here is what happened to the tower of Babel. The confusion of languages in our day can be compared to the confusion of our life purpose if we dare to not seek after a God who wants to be personally sought.
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Genesis 11:3-8
13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons ofthunder:
18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphæus, and Thaddæus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
Mark 3:14-19
In his last days, he sits with the Apostles and shares one of THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGES that will change what you seek. He specifically asked us to look for this. These apostles were scared of all the times that he mentioned that He would be crucified and killed by his own people. He was constantly seeking refuge and the society had become hostile to His wonderful message. You have to understand how controversial he was.
1. He considered women equal; he had women disciples when it was mainly a Patriarchal Society. 2. He claimed he was their to save the world from its sins, the religious groups called this blasphemy. 3. People were losing their congregations since He became a miracle worker in the city. 4. He came out of Nazareth and the reputation of that city was belittling to outsiders 5. He spoke out against religious people who followed the letter of the Law and not the Spirit of the Law 6. Many were upset that he was a peacemaker and did not have an inclination to become a King and destroy the Roman Empire 6. Jews wanted him to fulfill the Daniel prophecy to set up his kingdom; who wouldn’t if they were temporarily under Roman rule? 7. He taught he could forgive sins 8. He started being looked at as a radical religious leader and the Romans wanted to keep the power 7. He was a Rabbi that started new teachings with no direct authority from man but directly from God 8. He began teaching higher laws and people started following him by the thousands.
It was his time to be taken from this earth. The pressure was rising and his soul was too bold on this earth of decadence.
THE UMBILICAL CORD VERSES:
I choose to make no commentary on this subject afterwards. I would like his voice to ring to all the ends of the earth. I will just add one thought. This umbilical cord of Heaven cannot be taken lightly. Our peace depends on it. Following that prompting can change your life. Following that prompting led me to the Mormon faith, but that was MY JOURNEY. All the questions I have ever had about life itself were answered. I wasn’t looking for the Mormon faith, it was just something that came into my lap after a year of looking for a better life. Let’s think about what the Savior said to the most loved people he had traveled the country with. I was looking to get comforted. The Savior gave a concise way to achieve it. The Mormon faith’s message is invalid until you get promptings like the Savior mentioned to his closest followers. All Churches encourage you to believe what they believe, the Mormon faith is the exact opposite. They admonish you to review what the missionaries tell you and then YOU need to acquire the promptings from the Holy Ghost to know it it’s true or not. This is just the beginning of accepting the the Good News. That is where it all begins.
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14: 23-27
